It certifies the language ability required for someone to cope satisfactorily in situations of everyday life, which do not require a specialized use of the language.

The examination consists of the following tests:

• Comprehension of written speech (70 minutes)

• Comprehension of spoken language (40 minutes).

• Mixed skill: Comprehension of spoken and written language, production of written language and communication (80 minutes)

• Mixed skill: Comprehension of written language and Production of spoken language and communication (20 minutes / 20 minutes of preparation)

According to ALTE (Association of Language Testers in Europe) the B2 Diploma corresponds to the following international diplomas:

• English: First Certificate in English (FCE)

• French: DELF B2

• German: Goethe Zertifikat B2 (CEF)
